Instead of planning and taking time to sit down to eat, youre on the go, driving through fast food franchises eating combo meals, forgetting to eat lean protein, fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, the quick and easy foods are loaded with carbohydrates, sodium, sugar and fats. Healthy eating will help you stay healthy.

Here are a couple of tips for healthy eating so you dont ignore your healthy:

1.Dont skip breakfast. Eating in the morning will jump-start your metabolism, giving you energy to get you through the morning. Protein and carbohydrate in the morning is a great breakfast. Breakfast should be your largest meal for the day.

2.Reduce your intake of caffeinated and carbonated beverages. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant and is addictive. Caffeine will make you hungry. Carbonation prevents your body from absorbing nutrients. Both caffeine and carbonation will cause your body to be in a more acidic state. The best pH for your balance is more alkaline or slightly over 7.0 which is half way between total acidic and alkalinity.

3.Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. I personally drink distilled water and avoid tap water at all costs. Filtered, purified, ionized and reverse osmosis water is also good. Think of water as cleansing the toxins out of your body. Water is water and water is not ice tea, coffee, Crystal light.

4.Eat your fruits and vegetables daily. A diet rich in dark green, orange, red and yellow choices are best. Your body likes variety which comes in all colors. Variety gives your body a greater amount of nutrients. The most overlooked benefit of eating raw vegetables in your diet is the benefits of the enzyme activity in raw vegetables. Eat at least 3 portions of raw vegetables a day.

5.Eat whole-grain products. Your best sources are whole-grain breads, cereals, rice and pasta. Stay away from enriched and white flour products. Read the label. Processed foods are not whole-grains. All the healthy nutrients have been stripped away from processed foods.

6.Cut the bad (saturated) fats and increase the good (unsaturated) fats. The bad fats include coconut and palm oil, butter, full-fat dairy products and animal fat. Eat the good fats that include olive, canola and corn oils. Read the label. Anything fat which is solid at room temperature is best to avoid.

7.Drink alcohol in moderation if at all. Alcohol has wasted calories and if consumed on a regular basis, adds unwanted pounds. Alcohol also increases your blood sugar levels which is unhealthy for your metabolism.

Just try and make one change a week. Or continue to work on one of these tips until it becomes a part of your healthy lifestyle. Healthy eating takes some planning. Its very difficult to eat healthy on the fly. Spend some time and plan your meals. Its well worth the rewards. You are what you eat. If you are eating unhealthy, dont expect to stay healthy for long. I believe its easier to stay healthy than to try to get healthy once your sick.

Babe Didrickson Zaharias was a phenomenal athlete. This Texan ran, jumped, rode horses, and played basketball and baseballwith tremendous flair.

But the real story behind Zaharias fairy-tale success was her painstaking diligence. Her success came from studied repetition. In every sport she undertook, she was methodical, deliberate, and persistent. She was neither natural nor automatic.

When, for example, she played golf for the first time, she did not automatically master the game. Instead she studied the game carefully, covering all its complex skill sets, under the tutelage of the finest golf teacher she could find. She looked at all the elements of the golf swing, broke it down into parts, then put it all together in a fluid movement.

Besides using an analytical approach to understand the game, Zaharias also locked the information into her motor nervous system through exhaustive practice. She would spend as many as 12 hours a day on the golf course, hitting as many as a thousand balls. Her hands would often becomes so sore that she could hardly grip her club. She stopped only long enough to tape up her hands before picking up the club again.

Zaharias learned to play golf the right way. She started out by hiring an exceptional teacher. She analyzed each part of the golf swing then put them all together in a fluid motion. She practiced for about 12 hours a day. She exercised self-discipline and self-sacrifice. And she didnt doubt herself. Her previous successes had created an enduring self-confidence. She believed that if she applied herself she would be a golf champion. She proved this belief true.

Zaharias took a risk. She risked her reputation as an athlete by trying something new. She also risked the time and money it cost her to perfect her new sport.

Above all, she was methodical in the way she went about inventing herself as a champion golfer. She chose a gifted teacher, studied all aspects of the game, and put her new knowledge into practice, converting theory into motor learning, coordination, and stamina.

Also, keep in mind that even if these pills are effective, they will not protect you against sexually transmitted disease.
